The course ‘Being a parent today’ offers two meetings designed to provide practical tools, ideas and opportunities for discussion on parenting and children's emotions.
The first session, on 29 January from 4pm to 6pm, addresses how to welcome children's emotions, understand “tantrums”, manage the use of digital devices and maintain consistency in education. The second, on 5 February at the same time, focuses on the development of children's autonomy and the importance of a network of adults who collaborate in their growth.
During the meetings, children can participate in workshop activities with the educators. The programme is supported by the technical collaboration of the Yuman Centre.
The meetings are aimed at parents in their last trimester of pregnancy and parents of children aged 0 to 3 years. Participation is free and the maximum number of participants is 10.
