The JMuseo and the Municipality of Jesolo are celebrating the artist Franco Fontana (Modena, 1933) with a major monographic exhibition. He is the undisputed world pioneer of color photography, a giant of the image, and one of the greatest photographers of all time, with works in the most prestigious museums and private collections internationally.
The exhibition, titled Franco Fontana. Colors, will run from November 29, 2025, to May 24, 2026. It is curated by Gabriele Accornero and Studio Franco Fontana. Promoted and produced by the Municipality of Jesolo, the exhibition presents a synthesis of the master's most iconic works, many of which are large-format, created between 1961 and 2017.
