The Municipality of Jesolo is hosting the presentation of the book 'Jesolo, la musica la danza e il canto' by Giuseppe Artesi, a cultural event open to citizens and tourists with free admission. The presentation is scheduled for Thursday 24 October 2025 at the Kursaal Centro Congressi, located in Piazza Brescia, 13 in Jesolo (VE). It will start at 20:45 and end at 23:00. Artesi's work offers an entertaining and interesting journey through Jesolo's history, tracing the city's musical evolution, from the little orchestras of the early 1900s to the night clubs and discos of the 1990s. It also recalls the great international personalities who have graced the Jesolo stage, including Charles Aznavour, Renato Zero, Celentano, Mina, Modugno, Gino Paoli, Ray Charles, Grace Jones and Ella Fitzgerald. The review concludes by mentioning the many Jesolo natives who have become music teachers or concert performers, with special mention of the name Gloria Campaner.
