Show Story of a Gabby and a Cat

Viale del Bersagliere, 1, 30016 Jesolo VE - Portami qui
11.01.2026 - 11.01.2026

The 2025–26 theatrical season of the City of Jesolo offers a rich and varied program of performances blending entertainment, irony, reflection, music, and dance, organized in collaboration with Arteven, the regional association promoting culture and theater in Veneto.

Among the scheduled events, “The Story of a Seagull and the Cat Who Taught Her to Fly” tells the adventures of Zorba, a brave harbor cat who must keep a promise made to a dying seagull: to take care of her egg and teach the newborn chick how to fly. The story unfolds through challenges, obstacles, and moments of growth, as the little seagull learns—thanks also to Zorba’s friends—to embrace her true nature. The tale conveys the message that accepting those who are different is not easy, but it enriches our lives.

The staging combines contemporary dance, acting, video, narration, and a modular set design resembling a giant construction game. The soundtrack ranges from jazz to the sounds of Bjork, Sigur Ros, Vivaldi, and Pascal Comelade, creating an engaging and original experience.

Direction, choreography, and video are by Stefano Questorio, dramaturgy by Angela Graziani and Pippo Gentile, set design by Adriana Sasso, multimedia development by Monica Zucchetti, with music by various artists. The cast includes Pippo Gentile, Angela Graziani, Alessia Gottardi, Valentino Gentile, and Cristiana Rigon.

Tickets purchased online cost €4 plus presale fee and will be available starting November 13 on Vivaticket, at the Ridente Viaggi agency, and at Vivaticket sales points. On the day of the performance, tickets can be bought at the Teatro Vivaldi box office from 3:00 PM at the price of €5, or through a special promotion of 3 tickets for €12.

The show is recommended for audiences aged 4 and up and will take place at Teatro A. Vivaldi, Via del Bersagliere 1, Jesolo, on January 11 from 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM. Admission is ticketed. No entry is allowed once the show has begun, so punctuality is required. The program is subject to change. For more details, visit the Arteven website.
